The Kitchen Table (Prescott, WI)

On a beautiful Fall weekend, I slipped away for a little trip to Hastings, MN. On Sunday morning I woke up and decided to hop over the Minnesota and Wisconsin border for a hearty breakfast at The Kitchen Table in Prescott, WI. My goodness, friend, was that a treat for sure! Come along as I share my experience at The Kitchen Table!

As I crossed the border from Minnesota into Wisconsin and drove down Main Street (Broad Street) in downtown Prescott, The Kitchen Table was conveniently located to the right. When I walked into The Kitchen Table it was busy, which is a good sign because then I knew it was a good place to eat! I walked up to the bar and was immediately greeted by a friendly server who asked if I had ever been to The Kitchen table before. When I said I hadn’t she kindly explained how everything worked – I place my order and pay the server at the bar who at that time gives me a number stand, and then I find a seat placing my number stand out where the server can see and brings my meal when it’s ready.

While waiting for my food to come out (which seriously took no time at all!) I got a chance to check out the interior of The Kitchen Table that was filled with really cool vintage signs. The atmosphere of The Kitchen Table is very classy, adorned with a beautiful wood-top bar and tables. It encourages the same feelings of home and the comfort that you feel at your own kitchen table. As a visitor passing through, it was very welcoming!

When my breakfast of a ham and cheese omelet and hashbrowns came out I couldn’t wait to dive in – and it did not disappoint! Chunks of ham with some good ol’ Wisconsin cheese – what could be better?! It was delicious! The only thing that could have made it better was a Mimosa from the bar!

The Kitchen Table is a neighborhood restaurant that combines welcoming and friendly hospitality with delicious breakfast and lunch options. Executive Chef Aaron Wolf’s menu incorporates New American and Midwestern influences into unique versions of comfort-food classics that everyone can enjoy!

Thank you, The Kitchen Table, for a wonderful experience!
